1. IS EVERYTHING ORGANIC AT MISTER ECO?

All products that are part  of Mr. Eco´s family are seasonal, fresh, tasty, top quality and, of course, organic. We do have  all the required   and certified  accreditations which prove that everything is organic.

2. WHAT ARE THESE BASKETS THAT YOU´RE TALKING ABOUT?

Each week we will offer you different kinds of baskets full of seasonal, fresh, tasty and top quality organic products. You can choose between  fruits or vegetables baskets or even mixed ones. To make your purchase easier, there are different sizes, there are  single baskets for individual  use, baskets for two or three people and also for three or four people. We have created these sizes based on an appropriate consumption recommended by the World Health Organization to lead a healthy and balanced diet and also thanks to the advices of  our personal nutritionist. If what you want is to do things the way you like from the start, with the basket “A la Carte " you can place a totally personalized order.
Fresh products essentially come from local kitchen gardens, Catalan and Valencian,  this way we make sure that only a few hours is spent since the collection of the product  in the kitchen garden until its delivery to your place. Ready-to-eat products have diverse origins and we have selected them according to their quality. At Mister Eco our main  objective is to bet on local organic products and we work tirelessly so we can include them  in our offer on a long term basis.  3. HOW DO I SIGN UP?

It is very easy. Enter www.Mistereco.es, select your order and create your account, our web will guide you step by step, it is very fast and intuitive, you do not need to worry. If you wish  you can contact us and we can create it together. Welcome to Mister Eco!

4. DO I HAVE TO SELECT A SPECIFIC TYPE OF BASKET TO PLACE AN ORDER?

You can select one of the baskets that we offer which consist of various seasonal organic products and modify it according to your own tastes.  You can also make your own customized basket, select "order a la carte" and fill it with all the extra products you need.

5.DO THE  BASKETS ALWAYS  CONTAIN THE SAME PRODUCTS?

  All  Mister Eco´s fresh products are  seasonal and organic so our offer is always made according to the different seasons. We do select the  fruits, vegetables and ready-to-eat products according to the products  offered weekly by our farmers and producers. Then, we  bring them to your house with all kinds of information so you know, not just what you're eating, but also how to prepare our products with various and tasty options. Remember that once you've selected your basket, here you have the option of modifying its composition changing its  products for others that we will propose you as an alternative. You also have the option to add extra products. Customize it according to your own tastes!
 
6. HOW DO I KNOW WHAT THE BASKETS CONTAIN?

You can check the weekly content of the basket directly on our website or, in case you are a member of Mr. Eco and have selected the option to receive it, through the NEWSLETTER that we will send you weekly. Occasionally we will have to change some items at the last minute, it will always be some equally appealing option, we will send an email to inform you as mother  nature can sometimes be unpredictable!

7. CAN I CHOOSE THE PRODUCTS THAT MAKE MY BASKET?

Each week we will offer you different kinds of baskets full of seasonal, fresh, tasty and top quality organic products. Once you've selected your basket, here you have the option of modifying its composition changing its  products for others that we will propose you as an alternative. If you like to create things from scratch, with the  option "A la Carte" you can create a completely customized basket, fill it with all the extra products you need.
 
8. HOW AND WHEN WILL YOU DELIVER  MY ORDER?

We deliver every Thursday and Friday  from 9:00 AM to 21:00 PM, divided between the  morning (9:00-14.30 h.) and  the afternoon (16-21 h.). Select the most appropriate  time to receive your order and we'll bring it to you personally to the given address, it´s as simple as that.

9. MY SCHEDULE VARIES A LOT AND IT IS  DIFFICULT TO KNOW WHEN I WILL BE HOME.

We always recommend that you leave an alternative address for the receipt of your order. Within the defined  areas and delivery times we can bring your basket  wherever it is convenient for you :  it could be the gym, your porter, at school when you pick up your children, your morning coffee bar or the bakery next to your house. Please call us and tell us the place which best suits you.
 
10.WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY ORDER AND IT IS PAST THE DEADLINE?

Please contact us as soon as possible. As we work  without stock, we place orders with our producers and farmers especially for you, we are therefore unable to sell your products to another customer. As you can understand,  perishable goods  can  not be cancelled and total payment will therefore be  required. If you have ordered ready-to-eat products, in that case we will be able to refund you  the corresponding amount of your order. You will  also be able to change your delivery address and you can decide to make a great tasty gift  to one of your loved friends or relatives, be sure that you will not regret it!
 
11. WHAT DOES A SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRE?

Nothing at all, being part of Mr. Eco is free and you can unsubscribe any time temporarily or permanently.

12. HOW DO I CHOOSE THE BASKET WHICH BEST SUITS ME?

We have made several baskets proposals taking into account their composition (fruits, vegetables or mixed) and a daily consumption of fruits and vegetables which is required for a healthy and balanced diet. There are boxes for single use (Single box), for two or three people, for three or four people and boxes that you can freely customize according to your preferences (A La Carte). You can modify them to your own taste and add as much extra  products as you want. If you have any questions, please contact us and we will try to solve them.
 
13. WHERE DO THE ORGANIC PRODUCTS OF MISTER ECO COME FROM?

All fresh organic products offered by Mister Eco come from the kitchen gardens of our Islands or Spain (preferably from the kitchen gardens of Valencia and Catalonia). Referring to our ready-to-eat  products, we choose  the most remarkable ones according to their quality, trying at all times to have a great representation of local products.

14. WHY DON´T YOU SELL ONLY LOCAL ORGANIC PRODUCTS?

There are certain basic principles that every product must meet  to be part of our family. Of course all our products must be organic certified  but they also have to be fresh, tasty and of the highest quality. There is one last premise that  we were unable  to apply since the beginning, we aim to bring such objective in a medium-term and we are referring to the local origin of most of our products. We live in a beautiful natural setting with a developed  rural environment and people with extensive knowledge to exploit it. No doubt the local organic market is booming but we still lack distribution channels and customers to make the market more stable. Our goal is to create new market alternatives to   consolidate a sustainable  local organic market which would be beneficial not only to the final consumer, consuming more healthy, tasty and fresh products, but also to the local producer and the environment in which we develop our activities. It is not easy, but we are determined to do our bit to achieve it.

15. WHY DO YOU USE PLASTIC WRAPPING IN SOME OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

We only use plastic wrapping only if it is essential to protect the quality of the products we deliver to your place. For example, cherry tomatoes come in a small basket so they don´t get crush. We work daily to reduce the use of such containers in our delivery  and encourage our suppliers to use  biodegradable packaging.

16. WHY CERTAIN PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE SUPERMARKET AND NOT  AT MISTER ECO?

Supermarkets often ask  their suppliers to be able to deliver  certain products throughout the year which means that they are frequently grown in artificial environments or imported from elsewhere. Thus, we get used to a very limited number of products and do not enjoy the virtues and flavours of the rest. We prefer to offer exclusively seasonal products, so we can enjoy the great variety of fruits and vegetables that grow in a natural environment as there is always something new to enjoy. If you do not know what to do with a certain product, do not worry, we can provide you with all kinds of recipes so you can  discover new and amazing flavours. We recommend you to try it and you'll probably be surprised , but if you don´t feel like it, you can always change it for one which is more appealing to you.

17. WHY DO YOU USE WEIGHT INSTEAD OF  UNITS FOR YOUR PRODUCTS?

We prepare your order manually and you know that the size of a fruit often varies, so we have focused on weight rather than on units in order for you to receive reasonable proportions of everything.

18. ARE YOU GOING TO SEND ME JUNK MAILINGS, ADVERTISING, PROMOTIONS...?
 

We will only contact you  through the Newsletters (in case you want to receive them), when there is a problem that affects your delivery (delay, products not available ...) or when we can offer you a better rate on your purchase (automatically applied to your purchase, we will simply explain you why). We will not send you information unless you confirm that you wish to receive it.
We have a bunch of interesting information about dietetics, nutrition, recipes, restaurants, but if you only want  to make a purchase, we do understand it perfectly.

19. WHY THERE ARE  ONLY FRUITS AND VEGETABLES AVAILABLE IN THE BASKETS AND NOT IN THE EXTRA PRODUCTS?

Some organic fruits and vegetables, such as asparagus or strawberries, only grow during a very short period of time and there is probably  a limited number of farmers who cultivate them. As a consequence, we can only offer limited quantities that we put in our basic  basket, but unfortunately we do not have enough to offer them as "Extras".

20. HOW DO I PAY? 
Payment by card: Direct payment, so no need to worry about having money at home. You get your basket at your place, the day and time slot selected and that´s it!
 It will  be done through a totally secured and safe payment system.

Cash on delivery: If you don´t want to pay by credit card, do not worry, you can also pay when you receive your basket. We will contact you to confirm your order and delivery details!
